merc mark 2

hello guys i was wondering if anyone can help me with this motor. i think the serial number is 956207 and it is a 4 or 5 hp. a friend of mine found these in his parents basement. his mom wants to sell them but would like some info on it. thanks in advance. he founf five old motors in the basement. his father was a pack rat lol.

No such animal as a Mark 2 - maybe a Mark 5? Mark 6? Mark 7? Mark 15? Mark 20? Mercury did use the Mark model designation, just not a "2". Got pics? Serial would put it around 1955 or so, depending on the model.

ok thank you and yes i will post some pics on here all i could make out was mark then what looked like roman numerals for 2

hope this helps you n the black n blue is a merc too thinking it would be 70-80 model . any info would help i did look for numbers but forund no serial or model
