Trying to use Mercury Parts Express (http://www.mercurypartsexpress.com/PartsExpress/ProductSelection/ServiceParts/sphome.asp?CID=) to order some parts. I enter the 7 digit s/n I see on the id plate located on the motor mount but get a message saying: "Serial number 05674970 was not found. Please try again." Does this s/n look right? Does anyone else use the Website to order parts? Any suggestions on what the problem may be is appreciated. Thanks.

Motor is a 79' 115

if you motor only has 7 digits it is too old for parts express .they have the older parts they just won't help you find them.try
dougrussell.com
