Kenny....I have one fact that I would like too make you aware of...and I said FACT!! Mercury Marine has won more championships and set more records than all other manufacturers combined.

Mercury Marine has taken more championships because most ALL of the outboard racing is sanction by Mercury, and they frown greatly on ANY Non-Merc product in their sanctioned events. Do you have the factual evidence to prove what I just said is not fact???<br />Mercury spent alot of time and money developing their racing division, and it has almost put them under. They have bought every boat company they can so they can sell engines...FACT.<br />The Verado has not yet proven itself as a viable alternative to a 2-stroke, and they know it.<br />Merc's racing division is back in business with the Opti, but time will tell if it will fit the slot it was intended to fill.<br />BRP doesn't care about racing at this point, but the E-Tec can be set up to smoke anything in it's class, but there is no reliability, so they aren't interested in that market.....yet.
