Mercontrol C-37580A1 Cable

My cable is starting to chafe where it sits under the elbow......

I cannot find a replacement # for C- 34555 A.....
Any help?
This is the cable that goes from the contol to the shift plate......​

Don't have manual 2, but that cable is just a standard ole Merc cable with the standard ends. Been in use from 65 to now.
