Thanks guys. Replaced cable with OEM , bellows and adjusted everything. Took out on water and shifted great. Another question came up when out on water. When I would trim the outdrive up or down, while i was idling it would stall the engine. When I was running it in gear and trimmed up or down it did not stall it. Would that be due to draining to much from the battery or something else? Thanks again for all your help.

If the trim pump is pulling enough to drop the voltage that far, your battery is kapoot...

Thanks that's what I thought. Would you suggest a deep cycle battery or anything in specific. Thanks again for all ur help

Just a starting battery with a decent reserve (90Ah) and more than 400CCA... Definitely NOT a deep cycle for starting.
