From pictures I have seen I think it's a gen 2 cool fuel unit. But will confirm that later on today when I am back at the boat.

Yes it is Gen 2 cool fuel, but look at the Reg for pink or blue on it

I was not able to see any markings on this. Access isn't very good in that area

Fuel pressure when running at idle didn't change from the previous picture. Until I disconnected the line then it went up just over 30.

The Reg is behind the motor mount on top. My guess is you have a 30 psi system.

Could try to pinch closed the return fuel line going back to the filter. Do this without the motor running just cycle the key. What your looking for is to find out if you can get the pressure to go up to 50 psi briefly. If pressure goes up then your pump is good and its the Reg.

Okay I will check that. Currently I am dealing with a disintegrated impeller. Water pressure isn't good at my house not sure if that's a factor. First one was jammed up and the belt wouldn't rotate. Had been meaning to replace the belt anyways so got a new one and still nothing. Pulled the water pump installed the new impeller and almost immediately all the blades blew off of it. Never pumped any water even.

You can find a bad impeller but blades coming off immediately need to check your housing and what impeller your getting

This isn't the first one I have replaced. Seems like every time I try and run my boat at home I have to replace the impeller. I bought a whole water pump kit again, don't think I'll even try and start it at home again, I'll just run it at the lake tomorrow.

Just to update this. It seems that despite the fact I paid the engine shop to set the timing for me, the timing is way off.
