Hi, I have a Bayliner 175 with an inboard Mercruiser 3lt 135HP 2003 model, I have a problem with the prop thrust when turning the boat either way, in that the engine rev's higher and it sound like a car clutch slipping with the trust from the prop?, not sure if this is caused by a clutch of sorts? but pulling a wake boarder out of the water with the trim set at a quarter causes the engine to rev higher and a loss of thrust until the trim is brought down to it's lowest setting please can anyone shed some light into this???? Is it normal???
