Sorry,
got dragged of shooping! Well, i'm thinking of removing my gas gussling 4.3 L/X V6's for marinised ford vehicle engines with a resultantreduction in power. Its worth doing over here because we have "red diesel" for use on waterways with is a third of the price of road diesel. But has anyone carried out this conversion? There are plenty of companies over here that will supply the adaptor plates etc.

Over here the diesel is so costly on small boats its pretty rare BUT the kits your talking about sound interesting as i have never seen that here

Even mercs smallest diesel is 8000 dollars more than a gas engine and are cheeper fuel prices make it hard to recover the cost
