mercruiser 470/170hp water pump problems

My engine has an internal water pump-seals have worn a slight groove on the shaft causing the new seals to leak.Does anyone have an idea of the diameter of the camshaft so I can get a set of speedi-sleeves to fix this.The engine is 300 miles away or I would measure it .Send info to ccardw1286@aol.com. The engine is a 470 mercruiser 4 cyl. 170 hp 2 bbl carb inboard.
