Changed the oil in the outdrive and had both the top and bottom oil plugs out. While pumping in oil from the bottom I noticed oil coming out of the weep hole. Is this normal or do I have a problem ? No water in the oil at all but oil coming from the weep hole. What should I do ?

What is the easiest way to pressure test ? And if it doesn't hold pressure, how to I pinpoint the leak to fix ?

Either buy or make a pressure tester.

Expensive tool just to determine if there is actually a leak. With the oil coming from the weep hole I think shows there is in fact a leak. Is a pressure test still needed ? And how do I determine where exactly the leak is coming from ?

You pump the drive up with air pressure and listen for the leak. Spray soapy water and look for bubbles.

Or...just take it to a shop and have them test it...

Ok that makes sense. What is the cheapest way to accomplish this without purchasing a $150 tool.
