Mercruiser 90HP

Hi

I have been looking at this boat: http://www.dba.dk/asp/soegning/detail.asp?annonceid=48753396

It has a Mercruiser 90 hp - can anyone tell me where that motor origins - is it a GM - is it in family with the current 3.0?
Is there any known faults on these motors

No, I believe that model has a Renault......
1972 was the last production year for that model....
I suspect that it might be hard to get parts for the engine, but maybe someone else here is more familiar with the than me......
When I say familiar, I mean I don't know a thing about that engine......
The drive should be a pre Alpha, which is OK.......
But, I am not positive about the drive......

Thank you - i had newer seen this one before - but i know Renault - and will stay clear of that boat d
