Mercruiser Alpha one starter question

I have a 95 Mercruiser 3.0L Alpha One (4 cylinder). I need to get the starter tested and Autozone will do it if I give them a comparable car type. Any idea what would work for this.

If they have to ask, don't expect much for a test. Do yourself a favor and take it to your local starter/alternator shop and have it checked for real.

Their tests are for crap. do as Don says. its the only way to have a true test.
