Hello everyone, I need a little help. I accidentally turned the ignition off while motor was in gear ,now I can’t get it out of gear to start it back up. The boat is in the water. Any way to start it?

Ayuh,..... Turn the key, "On", 'n jumper the slave solenoid,.....

Just be careful, as ya know it's in gear,....

Or, just jump the top terminals on the slave solenoid with the key OFF. Apply slight pressure toward neutral, so soon as the motor turns a tad it will be back in neutral
