mercruiser engine model???

hi just trying to figure out which engine models i am running so i can source a manual if anyone is able to tell from the serial numbers?
they are twin mercruiser 260 inboard cooled with serial #6703143 and #A608492
sitting in a 30ft 80's model searay vanguard hooked up to v drives
this is the only picture i have at the moment..

Ayuh,.... My Guess is, they're leaky mufflers...

so they are just mufflers? the port side cannister is rusted through and leaks out water, this engine is also overheating could this have anything to do with it? its hard to tell if the impellor is picking up enough water if its not all exiting the exhaust flaps...

Ayuh,.... Either fix it, replace it, or stuff a straight piece of pipe in there...

Nope... My guess would be that the heat exchanger hasn't been cleaned out in a while. Start there and then have a look at the impeller.
