I have a stupid question. I am in the process of making all the wires and plug wires on my engine look pretty. I have the spark plug wire retainers that are attached to a metal stud, and Ill be darned if I can remember how they are positioned on the engine. I have spent over an hour looking at pictures and searching and cant find how they are positioned. I think they are held on with the bell housing bolts but were? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..

I'm pretty sure it should be the two studs on the back coming off the flywheel housing.

That's where I got them now, but it just looks goofy to me. I'm pretty good at remembering where things go when I tear something apart, and I cant for the life of me remember taking these things off. I must have been abducted by aliens and they erased to much of my memory when they brought me back...:confused::confused:

Most are usually mounted to the 2 upper most bolts in the bellhousing(flywheel cover)
