mercury 135 v-6 no spark one bank

I have a 135 v-6 that has no spark on the port side.i have replaced both boxes with new and a new trigger.still no spark on that side.could it be the stator.?it is serial #og167258.i think its around a 1995 vintage.thanks for any info.i am not that good diagnosing 2 strokes.

Just a thought....swap your voltage regulators and see if problem moves...

Likely stator. As stated you could swap the rectifier, also plugs & wires between to rule them out.

after getting things back together I have found that I do have good spark now only at low speed.it wont rev up.an alarm is sounding and if I unhook it the alarm goes off but it still wont rev up.any ideas guys.

Mercury Motors have separate low and high speed stator windings. You could have spark at low RPM, if the high speed stator winding is damaged.

Did you replace the stator?
