Somewhat of a newbie here but I have a new mercury 150 4 stroke and I ran it with ear muffs for a couple minutes and although the tell tail produces a steady stream, I noticed some water coming from the lower unit. On either side of the lower unit, there was water coming from an area just forward of the sacrificial anode. And there was an additional stream on the right side from around the anode itself. It’s probably normal but I’m just want to make sure before I look into further. Thanks in advance.

Water goes in water goes out. The midsection is cooled with water plus the exhaust cover and engine block are cooled. All but the pee stream and an RPM dependent amount of water comes/is blown out of the "exhaust relief" ports just below the main engine block cowling at the top rear of the mid section. Everything else goes out the prop area and midsection drain holes....whose primary purpose is to drain the mid section when the engine is off. Obviously some water will come out while running if it enters the mid section from the engine block assembly.
