Figured I'd stop back by and give an update. Finally got a chance to take the boat out yesterday evening. Boat runs like a champ, starts right up, and runs better than it has since I put her back on the water in 2011. Was able to catch a couple of nice 3-4lb largemouth bass and my wife put a few crappie/bluegill into the boat as well.
Thanks to all who helped me out through this. Seems like every problem I've had with the engine has been turned into a learning experience and makes me a little more confident with the engine and its operation.
