I have a 1978 50 hp mercury outboard.
I think I may have a minor fluid leak in the lower unit behind the prop.
Are their seals their, are they easy to replace
There are 2 seals on the prop shaft you will need to remove the prop and prop shaft carrier to replace the seals. It's not a big job but you will need a spanner wrench to remove the carrier nut
