Mercury 60HP Expert required!

What are the two black pipes for in the photo? Mercury 60HP 1998. They were under the electrics cover on the side with the starter motor and one had worn through. Ive got scored bores and wondered if this could have caused it. Sorry about the size , its only 3cm in photoshop!<br /><br />

The photo is too close, I can't make out the lay-out of the area. Go to this site Mercury Parts Express and you should be able to find a blow up of the area and the parts will be labeled. You will need the serial number.

Thanks Bomber13, Ive tried Mercury Parts Express but it does not recognise my serial number. I expect because the engine was build in belgium!<br /><br />Rickdb1boat - What are T&T lines? and if one was broken would that cause loss of oil?<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Chris<br />P.S I have found out how to get the picture smaller so Ill do that this evening and give it a wider shot
