Could anyone tell me the year of a 65 hp merc with serial # 1542972? I am looking to put it on my 1959 14 foot lonestar boat (which has a 1959 35hp johnson super seahorse on it) but I have a feeling it might be too heavy for the boat. Would anyone happen to know the approximate weight of the 65 hp mercury in relation to the johnson?<br /> I'm not sure if I'm asking a question that's too hard to answer but I thank you in advance for any advice.<br /> Jon
