Mercury (blue stripe) help needed with replacing side mount throttle lever

today I broke off the lever that i use to go in gear, the side mount is still good. I have an older blue stripe mercury and have no idea on how to fix this. everyone wants to sell me a complete new side mount and I only need to find a replacement of the lever

HELP PLEASE!!!

Do you have a marine salvage yard in your area? That's you're best bet, unless someone on here has one laying around. The problem is, once the shifter body and lever are separated, it becomes hard to sell one without the other.

You may want to contact Marine Surplus, they usually have some older stuff on hand...Marine Surplus

I'm not sure what year you have, but I have had good luck finding parts for my motors at www.oldmercs.com

Good luck with the repair.
