I have a 1990 mercury 90 horse 3 cylinder, and I am needing a lower carb for it. Would a 1990 100 horse 2x2 carb work alright, or not?

Thanks

Re: Mercury carburetor question..

Just curious if anybody knows if the 100 hp carb would work on a 90 hp engine? I wasn't for sure if the 90 horse shared carbs with any other HP motors back then or not.

It should be a WME-10 for the 90.. I will look tuesday for one as I got several sets of the WME carbs.

I dont know for sure, but Im guessing that throttle bore and jetting would be different.

Thanks guys. Faztbullet, that would be great if you could check to see if you have one. I've had terrible luck finding anything, just let me know. Thanks

Faztbullet, I was wondering if you had a chance to see if you had any of the 90 horse carbs? Just let me know, thanks
