Mercury Classic 50 info needed

Hi folks

I recently picked up an 87 Bass Tracker tx-17 with a rebuilt Merc Classic 50 outboard. I've been searching and searching for info on the net but have come up short in some areas.

The serial number on it is OB136701

What year is this motor?

What is the recommended WOT rpm range?

What is the lower unit gear ratio??

Any help would be appreciated.

Prop it with normal load to reach 5500 rpm @ wide open throttle, but run it between 4500 and 5000 max. during normal use.

What is the lower unit gear ratio??

2:1
