hi all was just going to buy a classic fifty and was wondering if you guys and gals could give me some info on them , how heavy they are , if manual start can you make it electric start ,and if no power trim can you fit those cheers mark
depends on how classic is classic.<br />that 50 has been about for more than a year or two, but if its in the 70's and up the answer to most your questions is yes. on the weight I am not sure but less than 200pounds, I have mounted them by myself by hand so its not to incredible.<br /> the cost of the conversion may be an issue though.
still not sure of the weight but yes merc made kits for trim and electric start for that motor or you can find a donor motor of about the same vintage.
