mercury force 85 hp outboard wont start

replaced solenoid but it still just clicks batteries are new.
starter dosnt engage any sugestions

Temporily replace the battery cables with jumper cables and try again. If still no go have your local auto electric shop sheck the starter.

thanks, bhile. i did what you suggested and there wasn't any power, so i bought a new starter and installed it. the boat fires up quickly.
