mercury power trim problems

hello again,and after a long time now myself trying to sort my power trim problem out i have solved the problem and hope this advice will help for the running of a mercury power trim unit/and without power trim unit availiable both on the 3 way power type b system as mercury named it. please just make sure when using the system the tilt lock bar(10/12 bar with a 90 degrees bend on it is in place on the the unit giving you the trim position as it also acts as an anti ventilation plate allowing the outboard to go down from set postions,if this bar is not in place it can and will cause massive electrical prob lems when the trim motor is engaged. I have experienced all these and now my trim system is sorted and hopefully no damage to my motor.
