Hey all,
I have a 2006 Mercury 4-Stroke 115HP EFI. From what I understand it is a "SmartCraft" Engine.
I was reading a little about it and I see there are guages, and like a system monitor,
I assume the Guages that came with my 2006 Lowe FS175 are probably not "SmartCraft" guages, but just standard electronic guages, that don't connect into the Engine's onboard computer!?
The system monitor says it can show RPM, Fuel consumption, Water Pressure, Hours, etc..
I assume the Guages that are "SmartCraft" guages are more accurate since they acctually connect to the Onboard computer!?
I am curious how many people use this "SmartCraft" system?
Does anyone know if there is a hand held type plug in SmartCraft System monitor that could be used at times, but is not perm. attached?
It would be nice to have the SmartCraft System monitor guage but My boat doesn't have any additional guage space that I could put it...
Thanks,
-TheChad
