Mercury ThunderBolt 650 Shift Problem

So i am new to boating i was given a Mercury thunderbolt 650 4 cylinder SN# 2446718 The first time i ran it on the muffs it shifted into drive and reverse just fine but when i dropped her onto the lake i went to put her on and when i shifted it to reverse the cable the plastic holder broke on the engine side and the gear selector (see pics) the local marine shop charges 110 and hour 2 hour min so any help would be grateful

also drive and the choke lever work fine

http://www.4shared.com/office/aYv2iNTC/merc_controls_newest_manual.html This is a manual that has your controller in it should help you out. Just get the parts you need and replace them. Should just be a set of cables as I would change them both so you do not have a weak link. i looked and looked all over and can not find the plastic part anwhere in the book i have (seloc 1406) or online can anyone help or atleast give me the name of he part (red on engine & black part where cable goes into the mercontrol)
