Ok...I have two problems with my engine...first, my engine stalls out when you first load into the water and take off with it. The first couple of times I took it to the lake it worked fine, but the last two or three this problem as happened. After a few minutes at slower speeds it warms up and then seems to perform fine, however about the same time as this happened, if I have been running boat at probabley half throttle or more my engine sputters and shakes for several seconds ( like ten ) before it dies. It sounds like it is flooding out or something. It startes back up fine and seems to run fine, but does it almost everytime, unless I drive at slow rpm for 10 min or so. Any suggestions would be very appreciated!

Ayuh,....

It sounds like the motor is in Serious need of a Tune-Up,....
And,...
It's entirely possible the Carb needs Rebuilding,...
The Choke needs attention at the very least....

Motor is a 2002, I bought last summer and the guy said that it was tuned up before he sold it (dealership). It ran great for the 1st part of the summer, started to do this before I put it up for winter.

I take it you are the same guy as beck4288? Instead of having two posts active, it is better to have only one. I responded to your other post.
