MFG Rub Rail replacement Found!

Hey guys!

Found a place that has replacement rub rail for my '68 Edinboro Fiberglassics had an ad for Wefco Rubber co. I called them up, sent in a sample, and sure enough, they had a matching die! Talked with a guy named Pete. Very easy to do business with. It is a bit pricey, but I only ordered 40 feet, so I kinda expected that. anyway... I'm just pleased I could get it!

I'm sure you'll have good luck with them . Since I've been getting my boat fixed up, I've read many good replys about them - they Do seem easy to do business with . Nice to see a company that "gets it" and cares about our projects as much as we do. Keep us posted and keep up the good work !

I must say...... it is extremely well made! I'm pleased!

Was that the metal part of the rail or the rubber part?

Also, how pricey are they on a per foot basis for yours?

It is the rubber insert. You asked, "was it pricey"? Yea.... a bit
But considering, I could not find it at any of the marine outlets locally, I live on the coast and there are tons of suppliers here. I needed white, which added to my dilemma. Also, I only wanted to buy 40ft. Most suppliers have a 50ft. minimum.
Lastly, Pete at Wefco Rubber Co. went above and beyond to make this happen for me, and at three bucks a foot, I am very pleased!
