I spent over 800 on cabela's website and know have to break the news to the wifey. Believe me I wont lie or decieve her but what suggestions go you have to break it to her easy. Keep in mind no deciet

You done screwed up Milo There aint know way to break it to her easy just grit your teeth and take it like a man. While she's given it to ya just think about all the good stuff that will arive at the door soon. I see 2 options - 1. spend at least 801.00 on something for her or 2. Fake a heart attack and just as you are being loaded on the stretcher going to the hospital pull her close - and between gasps of air - tell her that you love her, and that you just spent 800 at Cabelas.

Been there and done that Milo....even if you tell her the truth she probably won't believe you. Ifn you are already in trouble you might as well go all the way and order another 800 dollars worth. It can't get any worse. I can say that because I'm not in your shoes dead meat..............can we have your lures since you won't be using them anymore?

Miloman, you're goininjg to fry man!<br />There's no easy way out of this one but you could soften the blow by being honest. She'll appreciate it even if it doesn't show and after all is said and done when she tells her mates about it afterwards ahe'll say, "At least he told me himself!".<br />It's then you start buying her all the frilly underwear to placate her.<br />Ross

Miloman... Tell her imediatly dont wait till day it should arrive, be humble and explain you should have asked her first and that your sorry for that.<br /><br />Hopefully she will not be to upset. From there take what ya got comming to ya. And I hope for your sake you got everything you wanted for the summer becase they tend not to like these suprises to often.<br /><br />we did a cabelas stop on the way to elk camp and wound up with an outfitters tent last year, know how ya feel. In the long run Mine understood as this is something I truly love to do along with fishing, hope your woman is as good as mine.

well glad to see I have so many buds here. Ok over dinner I explained the fundimental rule of our marriage. I told her that when we got married 8 yrs ago I wont cheat on her I wont gamble drink be a loafer or wife beater. I will work hard and provide you and our future kids with everything they need. I never will stop after work for a beer with the boys I will come home hAve a dinner with the family and if I want Ill have a beer with you my wife She was happy with that, then I told her i have 1 addiction fishing and to never ever even dream of denying it to me. True to form I have never done the above. I have over the years spent tons of $ of fishing gear as we all know we never have enough. Over the past 2 years I have been paying for most of it with tourny winnings. SHe was always fine. I told her I spent a few bucks today at Cabelas. She asked how much I told her sheepishly 800 US she looked up at the sky looked at me and laughed. She said I guess Im getting the new carpets in the basement arent I of course dear Ill order them in the next few weeks she siad I hope that there was something in the box for me . Man I married a fishing goddess. I thought I was toast<br /><br />Sloopy the question is not what did I buy but what didnt I buy. I did an inventory including the order I have over 4 tackle bags filled with 8 plano boxes in each. Each one filled wd with ever concivable crakbait jerk bait plastic spinner bait jig man everything At last count I have 22 rods and reels but I needed another bait caster why I dont know I am going to live through this so nope you cant have any but I will gladly share it with you when we all meet up at the get together I AM ONE SICK PUPPY BUT WHAT CAN i SAY I HAVE THE FEVER and as we all know it is a bad one this year
