Recently purchased a Minn Kota 55AT All Terrain 12V trolling motor. I have a 1995 Stratos 285DC. The boat is wired for 12/24V system. When you run the trolling motor, it seems like it is running on all 24 volts. Seems awful strong for 55 lbs of thrust. Seems more like 100. Just doesn't seem right. Anyone know anything about this.
