The alumacraft is a 1989 and the mirrocraft is a 1980's i think, both are 14'
Both are deep V's. I have a 9.9 force my neighbor gave me, I replaced the head gasket, it starts easily and runs good.
Is one boat wider than the other or thicker aluminum?
Is a 9.9 enough for these boats?

Does anyone know what year mirrocraft changed the thickness of their boats?

Thanks,
Dave

Personally I would go with the wider and the 9.9 will push it along fine for fishing. If the wider is thinner gauge it will be just a touch lighter...... aluminum hulls are fairly rugged.

There are many different models of 14' aluminum boats. Yea one may be wider, but you will have to measure them, as my tape measure is only 25 feet long.
