mix fuel sum more?

i have a 6 gallon tank portable, mix fuel and oil,, if it sets 4 like a week or more should i shake the tank to remix it?

Only if you are using motor oil as engine lubricant.

I have read that gas will keep for a long time, something like 6 months and once the oil is mixxed with the gas it won't seperate out.

gas starts turning within 10 days, if I don't think I'll be running the boat for a couple of weeks I'll use stabil.

Back to OP's question on mixing. There's almost no way to use the gas without it being mixed thoroughly even without you shaking it. If you trailer the boat, by the time you get out of the driveway it will be mixed, if it's at the dock as soon as you step on the boat it will start mixing even if the wave action didn't keep it mixed all the time. And these two scenarios assume that it would separate in the first place.

i wouldnt use stabil unless it sat for 2 months or more.

and being in wisconsin, my toys sit for over 6.
