Model number decodes to '85 but they didn't make 110 in '85?

I recently purchased a boat that had a Johnson 110 2 stroke on it. The model number is J110TLCOR. In decoding this it shows that the "CO" should map to 85. But, from my research Johnson didn't come out with the 110 until '86. I assume it must be '86 model that was built in '85. Sound right? Thanks

That number doesn't show up anywhere on my list. Are you sure it isn't a "CC"? (1988)

Are you sure the "O" isn't a "D". They built one in 1986.

I suppose it could be a "D". I've attached a pic of the tag. Looks like an O or even maybe a U but could be a D. This is on my '87 Starcraft which was actually built in late '86. What do you guys think?
