The yamaha f80 motor is identical to the f100 except for the horsepower. As I understand, you can modify the carberator to get the increased horsepower, can anyone tell me how this is done or where to go to find out what I need to know?

Thanks! you may e-mail gregwrad@mail.com if you wish.

I don't think it's that simple, Capt. Greg. I think there are four carbs, and that there are other differences, such as cams(2) and ECM. By the time you've bought all that stuff, you could have traded engines and saved enough for a great party.

Get the parts listing for both engines and see what is interchangable and what isn't.

Red sky at night. . .
JB :)
