Montgomery Ward Sea King 3.5 hp Chrysler help

I am trying to get an older outboard motor running again, but need some help.
Here's the motor info:
Montgomery ward, Sea King, 3.5 hp Little Gasser by Chrysler
Serial #18X 1776
Model #VWB 52003

The motor will start, but after a few minutes, it seems to flood out and stop running. I am trying to find out where to find parts for this motor........especially a carb rebuild kit, and any other info or advice you all may have...like fuel mix, manuals, etc.... ?

That was an air-cooled lawn mower engine. it uses 25 to 1 fuel/oil mix. Forget about finding parts through a marina. You MAY be able to find carb parts at the local lawn mower shop but it will take a knowledgeable service technician. You might also get lucky with Franz at franzmarine@aol.com
