Re: Motor and Boat Pictures
Hi people,

Here is my baby.. still a work in progress..
recently I got an angle grinder and cut up the front of the cabin.. so I could make the full width "wraparound" windows you see now.

Just put them in this weekend.. 8mm laminated glass on the front, and 4mm tinted acrylic on the sites. (had to, there is curature.)

It makes the boat look much newer. (don't know what year, but it has to be early 70's)

You can see the template in the middle for the hatch I have yet to make..its going to slide into the ceiling when its open.

Here is another nice view of the window work.

Here is a look at the other end.. this one shows my trailer modifications, and the fact that the interior of the boat is proactically bare, I am building a new dash and bulkhead.. and my little 6HP kicker is in the photo as well..

Last one is the outboard I am doing up.. this thing was mostly silver (no paint) when I got it.. it had no computer, the wiring was clagged the carbs were stuffed, the gearcase was stuch in forward and it hadn't been run for 10 years...

It purrs like a kitten now.

behind it you can see the old 62 evinrude 40hp it will be replacing...

sorry for such a long post.. but you did ask

When all the body is done, I am gonna paint this puppy with 2pack and call it done.

rgds

Frank
