I have a 2000 Yamaha Vmax 150 and was fishing a tournament in extremely rough water when trying to make it back to weigh-in, when the motor just died. At first I thought maybe I took on some water in the back, but after a couple days the motor still doesn't start. When I try to engage the motor it simply grinds. It will not turn over at all. I am trying to keep this out of the repair shop if it's something simple that I can fix on my own. This is my first post on here so hopefully I've provided enough info for someone to help me out here. Thanks in advance.
