motor idel is between 700 and 1000 rpm

got a 89 yamaha 130 HP. when fired up, it will idel strong buy then cut after a min or so. prime ball gets soft. Also when in gear, if not giving throttle, motor will stall. I dont know what the problem is, maybe you can help?

When was the last time the carbs were torn down and cleaned? How does it run otherwise?

Yea the motor runs fine over 1500 RPM. Sounds good and runs strong but Idel is messed up
