Motor Model Numbers or lack ther of

I bought a used 1986, 140 HP Evinrude. The previous owner repainted the motor and removed the medal tag that shows the model and serial numbers. How can I tell which of the other two 140 HP motors I have? Or is there any difference other than the gearbox? I know its not the CX since it has a counter rotating prop.

My manual lists: E140TLCCM
E140TXCCM
E140CXCCS = Counter rotation

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

find the round disc, on the block and try to clean the paint off. there's going to be one similar to this on your engine. it has the model and serial number on it.
