I was wondering, if it is possible for a motor to overheat with a good tell tale stream of water?
Common sense says that if the thermostat isn't working, and stuck closed, you can still have a good stream of water out of the tell tale.
(example: when a motor starts up cold, the thermostat is closed, and you have a good tell tale stream.)
So---- If a thermostat is stuck closed, the head is not cooled, but the cylinders are?
Any Opinions? Is this correct?
