I did a search and read the post about the storage of a motor and I am confident that I have winterized properly. I also noted the part where it says to store the motor "straight up" which I think means "trimmed all the way down" so that the long axis of the motor is perpendicular to the ground.

Is this correct?

Re: Motor storage trim

That is correct. Outboard motors are self-draining, but only if the powerhead is up and the prop is down.....
