72 Evin 25 hp on a 71 Terry bass boat

I have 4 positions on my trim and I normally run it second from the bottom when riding by myself. I'm going out tomorrow with 3 (total) people in the boat including all our gear.
Is there a better trim setting that I shoud use?

I would like to get the most speed out of it, but I dont want to overload my engine with all the added weight.

Thanks for the help!!

distribute the load evenly and try it the way you have it trimmed. it may ride better trimmed close to the transom with the extra weight...only way to figure it out is a test run with good weight distribution.

Thanks for the reply tmcalavy!!

Most everything of weight I plan to have in the front and middle of the boat.

So my options should be either where Im at now (2nd from bottom) or the bottom most setting?
Just between those two, right?

Thanks for the help!!

Try it as is and see. The only way to know for sure is by trial and error. Weight distribution and loading are extremely important also.
