Ayuh,.... I think that adjusting the trailer jack is All that's necessary for doin' Drives...
Just have the skeg touchin' the ground,+ rock the drive on or off..
No Lifting required...

Yeah,

I have a pallet jack

I just put my wood outdrive stand on it and adjust the trailer jack to just take some of the weight off the drive.

I just unbolt the thing and roll it all back!

I adjusted the trailer on my old boat with an alpha drive, however this boat is not on a trailer. It is at a marina basically on a wash rack. The drive goes down about 80% of the way before the skeg touches ground. Sorry forgot to mention this before.

The pallet jack is a very interesting idea. That may be an option.
