motorguide var speed wiring

Hello all:<br />I have just inhereted a Motorguide Great White GWT52V. The variable speed had been disabled, and I would like to restore it.There are 4 wires from the motor itself to the control head.Red, black, green, and blue with white tracer. I found where the blue/white was cut from the control board, and I assume red and black go to the battery. I wired it up and get constant speed only.<br />Can anybody help?<br />Thanks!!
