Muffler for 1986 Yamaha 150 Pro V

Greetings to all,

This engine has no muffler. I have located one and was wondering how difficult the instilation is. It looks like the powerhead must be removed. Are there online or printed materials for the removal process?

Any assistance would be greatly appriciated.

Your Yamaha service manual for that motor will have the steps needed to change it

i didn't know outboards had mufflers are they optional or are we talking about the baffle in the mid section?
