The fish must not be 3' closer to the camera than the fisherman, too.<br /><br />Catch me one, guys. :)

Re: musky mojo

Hmmm. Cold and windy. Sounds like musky weather to me. Even better if it is raining/sleeting. :)

Re: musky mojo

muskyone likes to jump three foot swells at over 60 miles per hour with the two of us hanging on for life. Sorry bubba we did not get any pictures of the muskies because there were no muskys caught. Best catch was muskyone catching a blue heron. The thing flew down and grabbed his top water musky lure. Pretty funny the bird let go of it and while muskyone was reeling it in the bird went after the lure again. I hear blue heron is tasty with barbaque sauce.

Sounds like one of those, "Sonny, let me tell you about the time back in '04 when I went to Leech Lake musky fishing with. . . . ." stories to me, guys.<br /><br />Interesting how the pounding is always worse if you aren't driving the boat. :)

Re: musky mojo

Almost lost the hat. I lost one of mine and we had to go back and get it. Gonfishn must be using a new type of knot because he did not loose any lures this time around. Yes bubba we had a blast. Jeff is a great guy and so is Neumanns and Muskyone. Not making stories here JB only the facts. Reports were saying the water temps were still in the low 60s and that musky activity was starting on the smaller lakes. We hit one of the smaller lakes in the morning and Muskyone saw a bigun and had a follow to the boat but that was it.

Didn't mean invented stories, Eurolarva.<br /><br />True stories are much easier to remember. :) <br /><br />Of course, as we age, we remember enhancements we didn't remember at first. :)

Re: musky mojo

Although this was one of worse weather trips I have been on in years the entertainment was great...no fish stories here..As said the gator was not knocking..At water temps at 55 degrees the gator wasn't knocking yet in the Bigger Lakes..Mayfies in so you that have fished the North waters know what that means..<br />Although my next to last day We went back to Little Wolfe and did extract a very small tiger that stretched may have went 30"<br /><br />Biggest Northern 33"(my son caught)Large mouth 2 to 5lbs..Jumbo Perch,The eyes 14 to 24"( came on my last three days in the shallows)..1 catfish that Eurolarva caught I think which made his day when he also caught a sunfish(muskybait)..<br /><br />All who have fished with me know that even if we werent't catching fins the entertainment I furnished will be around for a while(to many to tell here). Now I don't know whether to post on good news or the chat on the stories that now may float forth now that I am back...soooooo to start I would recommend that you never ever mention to muskyone that you want to speed troll in his boat ..Muskie can hit a speeding lure but not at seventy miles an hour.<br /><br />Next never but never put a left hander in the middle of a boat when you are fishing and casting with three.I hope your concussion is OK Eurolarva..I know that doing it twice was not really fair..but you can only sue me once..<br /><br />So its glad to be back and look for the Aventures of Gonfishn at dockside chat..Pssstt those who was fishing lets not tellem here..
