These might help... I think you'll need 10 gals of resin and 10 yards of 1.5 oz CSM

Yes that helps a ton i'm thinking that ill need at least 20 yd. of 1708. I was also wondering on the two outside stringers the curve with the hull what is the best way to get the curve the same as it was. what about my pattern for my transom will what i did work i used that brown kraft wrapping paper was my only idea to get the curves of the hull correct

There is wood wrapped in glass i just left the stringers alone for now going to do the transom first then just work my way forward or should i just rip it all out at once

Re: my 14' tom boy project

If it were me, I'd do all the demolition work first. Cut out the stingers and grind out all the old glass and get everything ready for the new material. Take careful measurements on the sides of the hull so you will know the height of the deck. Once everything is out, I would then fabricate and install the transom, and then the stringers, and finally the deck. That's my recommendation.

I HOPE you are wearing a Tyvek suit, a GOOD respirator, Goggles, Gloves etc... You do NOT want to mess with that glass and dust. I WILL mess up your lungs and health.

Re: my 14' tom boy project

Oh yes i wouldn't be cutting this stuff if i didn't have the proper PPE. Got the rest of the floor out and stringers the stringers were 1 1/2'' wide and 1'' think looked like plywood should i use plywood or something different. I also had and oops i cut through the hull up near the front of the boat ill post a pic with my phone to show

Re: my 14' tom boy project

Well, you've ruined it for sure. Just haul it to the scrap heap!!!!:p
Seriously, that is a big NO PROBLEM. Happens all the time. We'll fix that when the time comes. Not to worry. I'd recommend using Ext. Grade AC FIR Plywood. Laminate 1/2" pieces to get the original 1" thickness. Make sure to Pre-coat the wood with resin and pay close attention to the edges. After it's dry put down another coat on the mating faces and apply a layer of CSM and laminate them together. Poly resin is NO GOOD without mat. You will then cover the entire stringer with resin and the CSM mat.

Can you post some pics of the Entire boat? Would like to see what the hull looks like from the outside.

Re: my 14' tom boy project

I was talking to a friend today about my boat and he has a friend who works for Tracker boats and he has a sheet of 2" composite material. My question is could I use that instead of 2 pieces of 3/4 plywood for the transom
